lecture series preperation
Most people have PowerPoint presentations on a computer when giving a lecture. LDG does not provide a computer, but we do have an LCD projector. Nearly all projectors require a VGA connection. Fortunately most PC laptops come with a VGA outlet and we have a VGA cable. Unfortunately, most Mac's (and some ultra slim PC laptops) do not have a VGA port. Mac does make special connectors (dongles) to fit to a VGA cable, but we do not provide them. There are several different Mac dongles, make sure you get the right one that fits your computer. The VGA is standard, the computer end is not.
In most cases the lectures are presented in the gallery. It is the responsibility of the person giving the lecture to insure they have help to set up seating. In most cases we have taken down wall art to make room for the LCD projection.
