Noel Soucy

Noel works with acrylics and alcohol inks. She was a muralist from 1990-2008 painting murals in homes all over New England. She now works in her studio located at the Western Ave. Studios in Lowell, Massachusetts. Although she doesn’t like to put a label on her style, she would describe her most recent work as impressionism.
Noel is a self-taught artist, who lives in York, Maine with her husband and two children. She is inspired by art, the leaning birch trees along the side of the road, the sound of the ocean, the buds waiting to bloom, while her mind is completely focused on the activity of painting. “I absolutely love painting; I find it to be a constant challenge and reward.”
Noel’s long-term goals are to stay true to what she sees as a “lifelong journey and pursuit of creating something that can bring another person happiness.”
