I’ve been drawing and painting all my life. I became an elementary school teacher, but still worked on my art (when I had time). After retirement, I was determined to draw and paint as often as I could. I found great teachers, and loved every minute of the time I spent with them.

I paint in oils, and draw with pencil and pen. I paint outside (plein air) because I find when I look at these works, I remember every bit of being outside. The bugs, the heat, the scent of the land. It’s a delight! When I paint, I ask myself, “Can I do this?” It’s so much fun when I can!
