My printmaking is an exploration of layered elements in pursuit of creating a harmonious whole. I find delight in seeing one color veiled above another encouraging the viewer to envision what’s beneath the surface. Some of my work takes on an added dimension with raised areas of paper or fibers applied, tapping into childhood memories of designing dioramas at the kitchen table.
My printmaking endeavors took off under the influence of Adria Arch via zoom during the 2020 pandemic lockdown.
