The Loading Dock Gallery, January 31 - February 25; Opening Reception February 3
This fundraising show to benefit the Lowell Humane Society is a non-juried show. Every artist is
guaranteed to have at least one piece of artwork that has been properly submitted to the show,
on display; beyond that, it is at the discretion of the Show curators if 2 pieces from the same artist
are on display. Limit is 2 entries per artist. Both 2D and 3D works accepted.
Drop off dates: January 24 - 28 during Loading Dock Gallery open hours. You will be notified by Jan. 30 if
there is artwork that needs to be picked up.
Entry Fees: The submission fee is $25 for one submission, and $30 for two submissions. 50% of
the submission fee will be donated to the Lowell Humane Society.
Commission rate: Commission for artwork that is sold is 20% (5% of that will go to the Lowell
Humane Society), plus sales tax and credit card fees, if applicable.
Accepted Mediums are: 2D work inclusive of paint, mixed media, encaustic, charcoal, pastel, collage,
mosiac, ceramic, photography, hanging fiber, all print techniques and digital, shaped canvas is okay.
No entry can be larger than a 48”x48” wall footprint including frame, no more than 50 pounds, and
must be hang-ready with its own hardware suitable for drywall surfaces; no sawtooth hangers.
3D work can be freestanding, pedestal, or wall hung with no restriction on material. Freestanding work
must not weigh more than 150 lbs., and be more than 48” in width while being structurally suitable for an
indoor, open floor gallery environment. Wall mounted work must not exceed 50 lbs. Artwork must be provided
with suitable hardware installed, capable of supporting it’s total weight, with no special requirements accepted.
Printed submission forms and label entry forms can be picked up at the Loading Dock Gallery during open hours.
