As an artist, I find inspiration in both abstract and natural forms. In my abstract work, I am fascinated by the interplay of texture, color, line, shape, light and dark. I am constantly exploring new materials and methods, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the realm of abstract painting.
In my landscape paintings, I draw on the beauty and majesty of the natural world. I am particularly drawn to the challenge of capturing the subtle shifts in light and color that occur over the course of a day, and I love the way that these changes can transform a landscape in surprising and unexpected ways.
When I paint landscapes, I work from photographs that I take while walking in nature. I find that this approach allows me to capture the essence of a place in a way that is both authentic and deeply personal. Whether I am painting a sweeping vista or a close-up of a single detail, I strive to create works that are both realistic and evocative.
For me, creating art is a way of exploring the world around me and expressing my own innermost thoughts and emotions. Whether I am working in an abstract or representational mode, I am always seeking to push the boundaries of what is possible in the realm of painting, and to connect with viewers in new and unexpected ways.
