Jim Ricca is a Massachusetts painter trained at The Art Institute of Boston. Working mostly in oil on linen canvas, panels and paper, with a focus on portraits, landscapes, and still lifes.
For 20 years, Jim taught Digital Imaging, Graphic Design, and Life Drawing while doing freelance and contract illustration for companies such as Campbell Soup, Pace Salsa, and Mobil Oil. Additionally, during many of these years, he ran a Graphics internship program at a charter high school for at-risk youth and summer art camps for kids.
Over the past few years, Jim has decided to devote all his time to painting.
