Don't we all wish for stories that bring forth the magical and the fantastic?
I work from my photographs and then add color, texture, and imagination as I find the story that is waiting to be told. Inspiration may come from the motion in a curl of hair or the sweep of the curve of the body. After a day working in a world that is filled with the practical and the analytic, I enjoy sitting down at the computer to play with possibilities in Photoshop, or muse over the next possible project.
I hope that the viewers of my work enjoy a momentary escape into the story that plays in their own mind, which is informed by their own imagination and thus undoubtedly different from the story in my head as well as the viewer to come after them.
