When I finally decided to put down the tools of one trade, wrenches and sockets, and pick up the tools of photography, I quickly realized that I had made a decision to live a happy life. Whether I am shooting on assignment for a commercial client or setting up my vintage Linhof 4x5 film camera beside some dusty road, I am happily immersed in the moment of creating images.
Images are my creative currency. As a photographer, I shoot the things I see, the things I know and the things that inspire my curiosity. I am an architectural photographer, a landscape photographer and a portrait shooter. I love funky old cameras and film. I love the acuity and immediacy of digital image making. And, I love sharing my images as well as the stories behind them. My photographs reflect my life, my interests and my personal discoveries.
